about me

Hi! I'm Okehnite, a Philippine-based digital artist and author. I'm a student by day and a freelancer at night. I enjoy drawing the stories and the world I've built inside my mind, I want to share the things I've realized and discovered in the form of whimsical, morbid, and thoughtful art. I don't have an art style yet, but I'm flexible enough to draw in several art styles such as popular cartoon styles, anime, and adorable floating chibi heads.I've been drawing seriously for almost two years now and still counting. You're probably wondering why I have the title "Author", well that's because I've been writing for quite a long time. I have actually published a book (a free online novel), but I recently unpublished it for rewriting. Most of the stories I've thought and written are all oddly relatable, yet deal with a lot of controversial questions and thoughts that play with human emotions-the genres being; Drama, Psychological, Crime, Fantasy, Adventure, and a little Romance. My main goal as an artist and an author is to be able to influence my audience to think about and feel thoughts and emotions that aren't typically thought of or felt. I simply want to share the joys of embracing the mind's weirdness.

When asking for commission, you are agreeing with these terms.- No hard deadlines. To ensure the quality of your order and my health, it is required that I draw at my own pace.
- Do not send the payment until I confirm your order
- Payment first before I start or after the sketch. Or 30% down-payment
- Payment Method: Paypal (do not fill up the address) or Gcash
- For further revisions, major revisions will cost 10-50% in addition to the total payment, small changes don't have additional payment.
- You are added to my Work List after I confirm the payment. It is on a First come, First serve basis. There are only five available slots.
- Reservation of slots will require an additional payment of 2 USD
- No refunds once I started drawing

By commissioning me in any kind of way, you are agreeing to the terms of service below.Any statement can be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, prior to the commission.

I. GENERAL TERMS
-Please send details in a clear and nice manner.
- Provide neat references.
- Not a wall of text.
- Any ill behavior will not be tolerated and your commission will be canceled if it occurs.
- NO HARD DEADLINES. To ensure the quality of your order and the Artist’s health, it is required that the artist draws at their own pace.
- Commissions slots are on a First come, First serve basis. There are only five available slots.
- Reservation of slots will require an additional payment of 2 USD.II. PAYMENT
The client can choose to pay me in the following process:
- All commissions must be paid in full upfront.
- At least 30% down-payment before or after the sketch.
- Gcash Users/local payment/transaction can have 20% off (Economic issue)
- Do not send your payment until the artist confirms your order.
The client will be added on the work list once the artist received the payment.
- THE ARTIST WILL ONLY SEND THE FINAL OUTPUT WHEN FULLY PAID.III. PROCESS
Method of Payment: Paypal Invoice and Gcash
- The Artist will be asking you for details so please be patient.
- Work In Progress will always be given in the middle of the process I'm doing it.
- WIPs might be given as well if I the artist, wonder something about the commission.
- The time for your commission to be completed can be up to 2 months depending on many factors such as; Health, order of commission, complexity, Work, school or family issues.
- If any of the things stated above occurs you will be notified asap.
By the end of the task, you will be given a receipt via email with the artwork, your email will serve as your signature as to agreeing with this contract/TOS and agreement.IV. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
"I will do everything I can to make my customers happy."
However after a commission is finished, only small changes are allowed to be made. Such as small coloring/marking mistakes.Any great changes will come with an extra charge. Such as an outfit change, outfit addition or subtraction, background change or anything that makes me have to redraw it completely.MAKE SURE TO BE CLEAR IN YOUR ORDER/WHAT YOU AIM FORV. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY
I, the artist, hold every right to the produced drawing, not the client. Therefore the artist is allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to;
- Promote the piece within any place or site.
- Publish books with.
To display it anywhere to the artist liking.
- Post it wherever the artist want. (Depending on client and artist agreement)
The clients are allowed to;
- Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only unless agreed otherwise.
- Print the art, post it anywhere, and claim the right of their character(s) but not the drawing itself.
- Use the art to promote themselves with proper credit given to the artist.
If you break the copyright
INFRINGEMENT IN ANY WAY, EVERY RIGHT YOU HAD TO THE DRAWING WILL BE RETRACTEDThe following is considered Copyright infringement: (for non commercial use)
- Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially. (Meaning making money of it in any way)
- Taking Credit for the creation of the artwork.
- Removing any watermarks/signatures.
- altering the artwork without my, the artist´s, consent.A Purchase of Commercial rights to the artwork will always be 300% of original price.
- With commercial rights you are allowed to make any sort of merch with the artwork. Use it in books, covers, as Props, change it to your liking and promote your own brand with.
Credit is still required for usage of the artwork, even if altered or edited. (Depending on agreement) PRIVATE COMMISSIONS ALWAYS COME WITH A 20-30% FEEVI. CANCELING/REFUNDING POLICY
- I have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
- You have no right to cancel or demand a refund from the artist under any circumstances after payment is received.
- If money has not been sent yet the commissioner has the right to cancel the commission.
- If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers.
- Your name will be publicly posted everywhere I want to for others to watch out for.
- I also have every right to file a complaint and I have all the right to the money you have given me.Any statement can be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, prior to the commission.Your email will serve as your signature in agreeing with this contract, TOS, and agreement.
